These Terms and Conditions govern your use of PoolCareArabia.com (the “Site”), a directory of swimming pool contractors, maintenance providers, equipment suppliers, and related businesses operating in the UAE. By using the Site, you agree to these terms.
1. What this Site is
PoolCareArabia is a business directory. We help visitors find pool-industry businesses, and we help those businesses get discovered. We are not a party to any agreement between a visitor and a listed business, and we do not provide pool construction, maintenance, or equipment supply services ourselves.
2. Business listings
Listings are added in one of two ways: businesses submit their own listing, or, particularly during our early growth, we add a listing ourselves after verifying the business’s details against its own official website or published contact channels. If your business has been listed this way and you did not request it, you are welcome to claim the listing free of charge, request corrections, or ask us to remove it entirely by contacting us.
We take reasonable steps to verify contact information (phone number, website, address) before publishing a listing, but business details can change. We do not guarantee that any listing is complete, current, or error-free, and inclusion in the directory is not an endorsement or a guarantee of quality.
3. Claiming a listing
A business owner or authorised representative may claim a listing to gain editing access to it. We may ask for reasonable evidence that you are entitled to claim a specific listing before approving a claim. We reserve the right to decline or reverse a claim if we have reason to believe it was made in bad faith.
4. Accounts
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information when registering, and let us know if you believe your account has been compromised.
5. Reviews
If we enable reviews on the Site, they must reflect a genuine experience with the business being reviewed. We do not permit fabricated reviews, reviews written in exchange for payment or incentives without disclosure, or reviews posted by a business about itself or a competitor. We may remove reviews that violate this policy or that we reasonably believe to be fake, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful.
6. Pricing plans
We offer Free, Standard, and Enterprise listing plans. Paid plan prices are shown on the Site in AED and are subject to change; we will not change the price of a plan you have already paid for during its current term. Unless stated otherwise at the time of purchase, paid plans are non-refundable once the plan period has started.
7. Acceptable use
When using the Site, you agree not to: submit false or misleading business information; attempt to scrape, copy, or republish the directory’s data in bulk without permission; interfere with the Site’s normal operation; or use the Site to harass, defraud, or mislead another user or business.
8. Intellectual property
The Site’s design, code, and original written content belong to PoolCareArabia. Business names, logos, and descriptions remain the property of their respective owners. Content submitted by a business or user for their listing is licensed to us for the purpose of displaying and promoting that listing on the Site.
9. No warranty
The Site and its listings are provided “as is.” We do not warrant that any listed business will meet your requirements, that their services will be satisfactory, or that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Any dealings you have with a business found through the Site are strictly between you and that business.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PoolCareArabia is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or your dealings with a listed business, including disputes over the quality, safety, or completion of pool-related work.
11. Third-party links
Listings may link to third-party websites, such as a business’s own site or social media pages. We do not control and are not responsible for the content or practices of those external sites.
12. Termination
We may suspend or remove a listing, account, or review at our discretion if we believe these Terms have been violated, without prior notice in serious cases.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the UAE.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
